Enraged and Engaged – Pastors Begin to Clearly See Obama’s Actions??

It is not just members of Congress, state governors and Attorneys General who are calling out President Obama on his recent directive relative to bathroom use.  Some pastors are becoming engaged, even enraged, over the intrusive, excessive overreach by Obama.

Pastor Michael Anthony, Grace Fellowship Church, York, PA is one who is speaking the most forthrightly, even accusing Obama of attempting to “bully God.”  “I think he is bullying God,” Anthony said. “He is forcing his redefinition of sexuality on everybody, regardless of their religious beliefs.”  The president, Anthony continued, is “acting like a theologian while being a politician.” So, as a pastor, Anthony believes he has every the right to speak about this situation because Obama has “forayed into his territory.”

Botox takes up to 14 days to take full effect. If you have Meniere’s disease or migraines, dietary changes are often suggested that can ease symptoms. All patients were seen in follow-up at 10-12 weeks onlinepharmacyinkorea.com. The outcomes and implications of this study also reaffirm the importance of completing adequately powered, prospective, double-blind randomized controlled trials before active therapies are adopted into widespread use.

In that, Pastor Anthony is completely correct.  How dare the President think he can not only enter an arena about which he has no REAL understanding, but then attempt to tell God, as well as the whole of the American populace, what is best with respect to human sexuality?

As he has incessantly attempted to do with Congress, rendering them irrelevant via executive fiat, the President is now attempting to do the same to God’s church, and pastors, in the area of morality–dictating belief in accordance with his opinions.   As amazed as I have been that Congress has failed to more vehemently respond to his actions against them, I am even more shocked that pastors aren’t more exercised.  This is nothing less than a repeat of the actions of King George III–actions that led to the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution.

Pastor Anthony nailed it when he stated, “We haven’t spoken up on issues when we should have.  We’ve reached a ‘we must obey God rather than man moment’ in the United States of America. Christians should be concerned about upholding the law. We’ve got a problem now where we have somebody who is violating the written laws of the land. Christians have to determine are we going to follow the leader who is sidestepping the law, or do we obey the law as it’s clearly written?”

With Pastor Anthony, I completely agree!!!

Below is the link to his entire sermon from which his statements came.  I encourage you to view the entire message, as it is as definitive a statement to date on this highly important issue of bathroom use and the President’s egregious violation of both moral and constitutional law!

My dear pastor friends, this kind of sermon SHOULD NEVER be an anomaly.  Rather, this kind of preaching is that which honors God, brings clarity amid the confusion, and ignites appropriate passion in God’s people to stand for the word, ways, and will of God.  This is THE kind of preaching that MUST be heard from those pulpits, whose pastors have sworn allegiance to the truth.

To speak in vague generalities, while refusing to declare the specifics of the immoral action taken by our President is, to borrow a phrase from Dietrich Bonhoeffer, “complicity with the very evil” our President is attempting to advance.  This is, indeed, our “we ought to obey God, rather than men” moment!  May God have mercy on us, if we refuse to cast aside the fear of those within our congregations, who may withhold their contributions to the “work of God,” should we preach with candor and forthrightness on this topic.  God doesn’t need their contributions, nor does His work!  He’s not hard up!  “Obedience is better than sacrifice!”  He blesses, and provides, where obedience is present.  So, men, this is our moment to lead!  This is our time to stand!  Anything less, is desertion of the high and holy calling which our Great God has given us!

“Rise up O men of God, have done with lesser things.  Give heart and soul and mind and strength to serve the King of kings!”

“Rise up O men of God, the church for you doth wait.  Her strength is unequal to her task, so rise up and make her great!”

  1. Dave, I am honored to stand with a man of your valor and courage. We are so grateful that you took the time to watch the message I gave, and to encourage others to do so and to stand. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us. We are your servants, for Christ’s sake. Let’s stand together, for such a time as this.
